Extending Driving Licence Lifetime

It is Monday. Dastan did not join his playgroup because in the morning Anindya got notification that his class would be on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. If I knew it previously this morning I would be joining qigong in the temple hall.

At 08:30 I was accompanied by Rahutama to go to the Polresta (City of Semarang Police Department) to extent my driving licence life time. It would expire on August 8th, 2017. The process was flowing although taking much time. I had to show up at the doctor room to see my health quality. My blood pressure was 130/80. Then I went to the upstair to register. I had to deliver my old licence. After waiting for my turn, they took my face picture. Finally, they gave my my new licence. It was a temporary licence since they run out the form. I had to check the permanent one a week later.

At 10:00 Rahutama accompanied me to the lab. There Tio, Rahma, and Lani. I gave them direction to finish the report. At 12:00 Rahutama picked me up home. We stopped by at the Bu Lin kiosk to had lunch.

By maghrib Ayu, Rahutama's friend came by. She was on the way back to her home, Jember. After maghrib Rahutama accompanied her to the airport. By Sriwijaya Air she would fly to Surabaya.

I booked a ticket to Jakarta tomorrow at Rp296.196 through an internet booking application. Tomorrow at 18:35 I would fly to Jakarta. Lanjutannya...

Dinner Out

It is Sunday. In the morning I washed and dry my clothes. Anindya and the gang went to Simpanglima Square to join her colleagues to celebrate the BNI Bank's anniversary. Before dhuhur time they were home. Rahutama was also home.

Before dhuhur time most of the clothes were dried so after dhuhur time I ironed them. About ashr time I finished to iron.

Going Out

It is Saturday. In the morning I and Nuri went to Galeri Indosat again because she was not satisfied by the clerk explanation. She was served by the same clerk. Although her number could not be activated again she then was satisfied because she had told everything she wanted to tell. We then went to the Grapari Telkomsel in the Citra Mall at Simpanglima. She got a new number.

About dhuhur we arrived at home. Anindya and the gang were out. She later told that they went to a water park in Kendal along with her parents in law's family. In the afternoon they were home in happy faces.

Seeing a Doctor

It is Friday. I went to the Elisabeth Hospital to register. I joined Friday prayer at a masjid nearby. Pranoto was not in I abandoned to go to the lab. In the evening I and Nuri went to the hospital again to see Doctor Najat. He removed the wuz and my face exposed. There is a scratch about 3cm. We went to the Sarika Pharmacy to get ointment. Going Back to Semarang

It is Thursday. In the morning I had papaya fruit for my breakfast. It was the last half part of a papaya. The first half part was consumed yesterday. At 07:45 I left the guesthouse for the office. I planned to drop my clothes at the Cipayung Wash but it had not been on duty yet. I was back to the guesthouse to drop them.

In the office I printed our draft drainage report and passed it to Supardji.

At 12:30 after praying I left the office for the airport. I ordered a Gojek bike to bring me to the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. I had lunch in the terminal. Then I got on the Damri Airport leading to the airport. At 15:00 I arrived at the Terminal 1A.

My flight was Lionair flight number JT514 scheduled to depart at 16:50. I got seat number 32F. At 17:00 my Lionair Boeing 737-900ER took off for Semarang. At 17:50 we landed at the Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Rahutama and Dastan picked me up. At about 18:45 I arrived at home.

It is Wednesday. At 09:45 I went to the office and I arrived there by 10:00. I was all day in the office to upgrade the draft report composed by Pranoto. Lanjutannya...

Meeting

It is Tuesday. At 05:10 the trainer arrived at Gambir Station. It was 10 minutes late. After praying I ordered a gojek car to bring me to the guesthouse. The cost was Rp88.000. I arrived at the guesthouse at 06:30. I slept for a while.

At 08:00 I order a Gojek car to bring me to Wisma Mulia to join a meeting. Because the car plate was even we could not menyeret Jalan Gatot Subroto. After exiting from the toll road I got off on Jalan Rasuna then I walked to the building. At 10:00 I entered the building. I met Mahardi and David in the lobby. At 10:05 we joined a meeting at PT IMIP office on the 41'st floor.

The meeting separated to 2 sessions. In the first session, we received the information from Shell marketing officers about their various bitumen products. In the second session, we recieved explanation from PT Soilens engineers about their soil investigation report on the location where PT IMIP's Airport would be designed. At 14:00 after having lunch together we dismissed.

I again ordered a Gojek car to bring me to the office on Jalan Binamarga. At 15:30 I arrived there. I was there till 19:00 to discussed with Benny, Anwar, Priyo, and Gugun.

On the way to the guesthouse I bought snack at an Alfamart counter, took my clothes from the Cipayung Loundry, and bought a papaya at a fruit shop. I arrived at the guesthouse at 20:30. Lanjutannya...

Going to Jakarta

It is Monday. Dastan did not go to join his play group because he was being cough. He was also reluctant to go. He said he took his holiday.

Nuri went to the Office of Civil Affairs. She legalized some papers for issuing Anindya's land certificate.

After she arrived at home, at 10:30 I went to the lab to meet Pranoto and the students assisting our work. Unfortunately, he was not in. Rahmawati, one of the students, told me that he was escorting students conducting field trip. In addition, the PLN power was shut down so, we were not able to work. I, then, went back home after directing Rahmawati and Nikmah.

On the way home I stopped by at the Tawang Station to get a ticket for Jakarta. I got an Argo Bromo ticket at a discount gate, 80% of Rp365.000. It was PT KAI's compliment for passanger of 60 or older.

At 22:30 Nuri being with Bibik accompanied me to the station. They dropped me there. At 23:20 the train arrived, I got in the coach number 7. My seat was 10D. At 23:30 the train departed for Jakarta Gambir Lanjutannya...

Being at Home

It is Sunday. I was still at home. I had not able to sleep in previous evening so I filled the day with sleeping. Bagus came home to see his children. In the afternoon he went back to Erlangga to prepare his examination. Lanjutannya...

Dining Out

It is Saturday. I was still at home. I could not do ablution because the gauze on my face had to be water free. Instead, I do tayamum.

In the evening I, Nuri, Anindya, Dastan, Ailin, and Bibik went to the Empal Ayam Penyet 58 Kitchen on Jalan Wahidin 58. Various dishes were offered there. Nuri told us that they were tasty. And, they were. I ordered fried tofu, and steamed taro leaf. We spent Rp160.000. Lanjutannya...

Checking Out

It is Friday. The nurse said I could go home. The doctor did not have a program to visit me. At 13:00 my administration was settled. I went to the Fransiscus administration to get the health record, medicine, and a paper to see the doctor for control. The medicine was just an analgetic agent. I did not consume it because I did not feel painful.

Checking in the Elizabeth Hospital

It is Thursday. In the morning Nuri told me that a room was available in the Elizabeth Hospital. Nuri then dropped me there. After having signed many papers I checked in the Fransiscus Lounge room number 9. I shared with a gentlement named Dewa Wenten. He is a Balinese. When I entered the room he was not in. He was in the surgery room. His case was similar to mine, removing a spot on the face.

In the afternoon Nuri visited me. She went home when I was glided to the surgery room at 19:30. The removing was schedule at 20:00. I was unconscious for about a hour. At 21:30 I was aware and then glided back to my room. Nuri visited me. He went back home at 11:00.

Seeing a Doctor

It is Wednesday. In the morning I dropped Nuri and Dastan at his playgroup, then, at 09:00 I picked them up again.

At 09:30 I and Nuri went out the settled some matters. First, we went to the Office of Civil Affairs to get the updated family card for Suyamti. This document is needed to be one of bunch to get land certification. Second, we went to the Elizabeth Hospital to register my name to meet Doctor Najat. We got number 3 and we would meet him in the afternoon. Third, we went to Simpanglima Mall to buy a power bank. Nuri asked to change a sarung Anindya has bought yesterday.

After praying dhuhur I went to the lab to meet Pranoto and the students. I met Lani and Rahma. I gave them several direction.

At 16:00 I went to the Elizabet Hospital to meet Doctor Najat. He was at room number 306. I just wait for about 5 minutes before my turn came. The doctor told that after the spot was removed from the face, a pathologic analysis would be underwent. Lanjutannya...

It is Tuesday. In the morning at 07:15 I dropped Dastan and Nuri at the backside of his playgroup on Jalan Puspagiwang. Nuri then accompanied him during his session. At 09:00 I picked them up from there for home.

It is Monday. I was late to get up so I lost my dawn prayer. Dastan went to the playground accompanied by Anindya. She had to be absent in the morning from her office.

At 12:15 I went to the lab. Pranoto and the students were not in. I just met Pak Min and Yos. I then went home.

Dastan's First Day In School

It is Saturday. At 10:00 Anindya accompanied Dastan to go to the Al Azhar Play Ground. It was the first day for him to join a class and socialize with him new mates. I and Nuri then went there just to witness his exciting.

It is Friday. In the morning I washed my clothes. The day was not promising, cloudy, but in the afternoon they were dried.

At 16:00 I and Nuri went to the Elisabeth Hospital to see a doctor. Unfortunately, I could not see him using BPJS scheme since the registrar had been out of duty. I had to register before 10:00 in the morning.

Usual Day

It is Thursday. In the morning at 10:00 I dropped Nuri at a Grill on Jalan Sisingamangaraja to join the monthly gathering of Itb alumni wives. I then continued to go to the lab. I met Pranoto and Rahmawati. I gave advices to her on composing the recommendation application. I just there for a while about dhuhur time I went back home. Nuri had arrived at home.

Going Back to Semarang

It is Tuesday. In the morning at 05:00 I ate a papaya fruit for my first breakfast. Then, at 09:00 I had true breakfast at a warung tegal on my way to the office. The office was partially empty since there were only Priyonggo, Herry, Atina, Gugun, and several drafter in. I intended to see the drainage plan profile but Gugun was not ready to provide the drawing. At 12:30 I left the office by a Gocar at cost Rp71.000 for the Gambir Station. At 14:10 I arrived there.

I met Mahardi and the team (Luthfi, Arif, and ) in the Dunkin Donuts counter. We discussed pavement and drainage of the Morowali IMIP Airport Project. At 15:15 we dismissed. Mahardi went back to Bandung, I went to the lane 3 to board in the Argo Sindoro train, coach 6 seat 10A. I would go back to Semarang.

The train departed on time at 16:15. We reached Cirebon at 19:00, Tegal (20:10), Pekalongan (20:58), and Semarang (22:10).

Going to Jakarta

It is Tuesday. In the morning we had breakfast in the dining room first floor. The hotel provided simple foods for us. They were bread, rice, pecel, soto soup, etc.

At 09:00 we went to PT JBS office to join a meeting. The meeting started at 10:40 after Danu arrived at the office. He chaired the meeting. The meeting discussed our progress. No contractor employee join it because the meeting was just for the consultant.

At 12:30 the meeting concluded and we (I, Supardji, Anwar, Mugiono, Imam, Kunta, Edi, and Antok the driver went to the Warung Pasundan (nearto the airport) to have lunch. We actually love to eat there.

At 14:00 after praying in a masjid nearby (in the air transportation authority office area). Then, I was dropped at the airport.

My flight was Lionair JT765 scheduled to board at 16:05. In reality we boarded at 16:42. I was on the seat 31C. At 17:15 the Boeing 737-900ER took off for Jakarta. We got a nice flight. At 18:00 we landed at the Soekarno Hatta Airport of Jakarta.

I order a Gocar to bring me to the guesthouse. It costed Rp176.000. The driver asked me a money for the parking. At about 20:30 I arrived at the guesthouse. I was mad because the room was opened. It meaned someone has entered the room. Lanjutannya...

Samarinda the Day Six

It is Monday. In the morning after breakfast we went to the Section 2.1 project office. It was about 90 minutes from the hotel. We made a meeting with Hasahatan and Arin. We discussed the cross drains along the section. We closed the meeting by site visit and lunch at the Tahu Sumedang Resto.

We then went to the section 2.1 location. Darul and Ridwan joined there. We were able to access to the River Kamboja, the biggest river in the project. We went back to the section 2.1 office for praying. We left the venue at about 17:00.

We went to Balikpapan. We arrived at the Hotel Whiz Prime at about 19:00. We checked in at room 511. A moment later Supardji, Kunta, Mugijono, and Imam joined us. They got rooms at the same level.

Samarinda the Day Five

It is Sunday. We went to the guesthouse of section 2.2 in the Taniharapan village. We stopped by at the Masjid Shiratal Mustaqim at the Samarinda Seberang. The masjid is claimed as the oldest one in Samarinda. The masjid was built from wood, mostly.

At 11:00 we arrived at the guesthouse. We managed a meeting. The attendants were I, Anwar, Hasahatan, Ridwan, and Darul. We discussed the list of cross drains along section 2.2. After settling the meeting we had lunch at Kalijo warung. We cancelled to go to the site because the rain came.

At 19:00 we went to the Harry Crab Kiosk to have dinner. We went there by a Gojek car costed Rp16.000. We spent Rp233.000. On going back to the hotel we used a Gojek car again costed Rp16.000. I had to asked a Gojek bike operator to take my coat since it had been left there. Lanjutannya...

Samarinda the Day Four

It is Saturday. I and Anwar went to the section 3. After having breakfast we left the hotel at 07:45. Rusdi was still the driver. We, first, went to the Section 4 Office to met Aji from the investor. He just wanted to clarify that the people request to put a box culvert at the toll road STA 76+600 had been accommodated. Accompanied by Didik from the contractor we went to the site. After having discussions I and Anwar left for the Section 3 Office.

At the section 3 office we met Hasahatan and Anggiat. We clarified the crossdrain had to be installed. Finishing the discussion we, without Hasahatan, went to see the existing box culvert in STA 53+250. The box was almost covered by sediment. We also see the construction of the bridge of Sungai Nangka.

Samarinda the Day Three

It is Friday. This morning Priyonggo and Roland checked out. They would go back to Jakarta. I and Anwar are still in Samarinda. At 09:00 we left the hotel for the project area section 4.

The day was cloudy, so doing walking through seemed to be impossible. Instead, we went to the contractor project office section 4 at Simpang Pasir. A meeting then was organized. Hasahatan and Didik were from the contractor party. I and Anwar were from the consultant. A productive discussion then was flowing. The results were (1) adding a 16m bridge in STA 69+850, (2) moving the box culvert from STA 83+100 to 83+250, and (3) providing a BC at STA 69+250.

At 11:30 we paid our Friday congregational prayer in a masjid nearby.

After having lunch in an ox soup kiosk we went to the field for inspection. We went to the area around STA 69+000 and STA 83+000. Wrapping the inspection we went to the office to update the minutes of meeting.

On the way to the hotel we stopped by at Amada kiosk to have soto lamongan. We stopped by again at the Giant Supermarket to buy apples. Lanjutannya...

Visiting Government Offices

It is Thursday. After having breakfast we went out to see officers of the government. We first went to the office of Road and Water Resources Authority of Samarinda Municipality. Our team consisted of Priyonggo, Anwar, Roland, and me. The team then was added with Nicolaus from PT Wika the contractor and Danu from PT JBS the investor. In the office we successfully got a paper of understanding. Then, we went to Tenggarong.

We went to the office of Public Works Authority of Kutai Kartanegara Regency. We discussed with their officers. They would sign the paper of understanding but the investor should issue a letter of request in advance.

The last, we went to the office of the Kalimantan 3 River Basin Management. We just made consultancy with Deni, one of their officers.

In the evening we had dinner in the Raja Kepala. They taste was moderate but the venue was so cozy. We spent Rp452.00 for 5 people. Lanjutannya...

Samarinda the Day One

It is Wednesday. At 02:00 local time (an hour ahead of Semarang time) I landed on the Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport of Balikpapan. Priyonggo had arrived an hour ago and he was waiting for me. After taking my baggage we went to Samarinda. We rent an Avanza car, the driver was Anto. He drove fastly, at 04:30 we arrived at the Grandsawit Hotel. We got room 219. We shared the room for 3 with an extra bed. The hotel was moderate. It seemed it was an old hotel. It smelled something strage.

At 07:00 we had breakfast in the hotel. The dishes were moderate. I consumed tea, papaya, chicken porridge, and omelet. I thought it was ok.

Priyonggo confirmed that we could not went to the public works authority since the man in charge was absent. So, at 08:00 we went to PT Wika project office on kilometer 38.

We just there for a while, after having lunch we went to walk-through at STA around 23+000 to see cross drains locations. Anwar and Roland that just came from Jakarta joined us. Lanjutannya...

Going to Balikpapan

It is Tuesday. In the morning I washed my clothes. They were just few since Nuri had washed the others two days ago. I then washed others like towels to use the remaining capacity of the washing machine.

After zuhr time I accompanied by Rahutama went to the Lab to see Pranoto and the students. I just discussed with them. I asked plan drawing on the earth surface map.

At I went to the airport. My flight was Lion JT3624. It seemed it was an extra flight. I got seat 34C. The flight was delayed for about an hour. At 22:40 we were boading. The flight was full. At 23:20 we took off for Balikpapan. Lanjutannya...

Getting Cough

It is Monday. I felt my cough was getting worse. My throat was sore, my noses produced liquid. I asked Rahutama to accompanied me to the Mardi Mulya Clinic. When we arrived there the clerk told that the doctor was being out and she could not give the information the doctor would be in. So, we continued to go to the Bank Jateng Pemuda to withdraw my pension salary. I withdrew the July pension salary along with the 13th month one. It took just 10 minutes then we went to the Clinic again. The doctor was in. He observed me and gave prescription. The clerk gave me 3 kinds of medicines: Dolo Licobion 10 caplets contained of Metamizole Sodium, vitamins B1, B6, and B16. Dexteem Plus 10 caplets contained of Dexclhlorephenilalanine Maleate 2mg and Dexamethasone 0,5mg. And the rest was Cefadroxil 10 caplets 500mg. The first 2 would consumed 3 times a day. The remaining one was the antibiotics but I would not consumed it. For total I spent Rp71.000

This afternoon I was informed by Priyonggo that there was an assigment on Wednesday to Samarinda to accompany the officer of PT JBS to have coordination with the water resources authority of Kalimantan. For that I had to depart on Tuesday (tomorrow).

Going to Citra Mall

It was Sunday. I felt being not good. There was liquid emerging form the noses. I thought I got flu. Bu Kus gave us more a dish with several kupat. However, I liked to have the previous ones for my meals.

At about 12:00 I and Rahutama went to Citra Mall to see the glasses. We were so hard to get a parking space there. Eventually, we parked our car at the 2nd level of the only parking building behind the mall. It costed Rp4.500 per hour. We were only a while in the Melawai Optical. Seeing the Toll Road Alignment

It is Saturday. In the morning I walked about 50 minutes. My route was streets of Puspowarno Selatan II, Puspawarno III, Puspogiwang Barat, Puspowarno Tengah I, Sudirman, and Bojongsalam. It was the first walk since I paid ramadhan fasting.

At about 10:00 I and Rahutama went to Ngalian area to see the construction of the Batang - Semarang Toll Road. It seemed that the construction was halted for Eid al Fitr since there was no work there. I found that the overpasses of Kaliancar and Banjarsari had been operated.
