Nuri Coming Home

At 19:00 Nuri was home. She was picked up by Rahutama. Nuri just came from Surabaya. She arrived on time at Tawang Station. The Rajawali Coachs was on time this afternoon. As usual she brought many varieties of snack.

This morning I and Rahutama got up at 03:15 for having early breakfast. We deliberately wanted to be voluntary fasting. It was recommended in the religion. We just had rice and vegetable soup. Anindya Going to Jakarta

At 17:30 I and Bagus dropped Anindya to the Ahmad Yani Airport. She would go to Jakarta after 2 days visiting his car. We went to the airport by her new car. She seemed proud of herself by belonging a car.

My daily activities were as usual. I got up, praying and got ready for walk. Anindya bought us nasi pecel and chicken porridge. I had nasi pecel for my breakfast. Anindya then went out accompanied by Bagus. Lanjutannya...

Joining a Discussion

At 09:00 I and Mr Harsono came to Groundwater Project Office to involve on a discussion preparing matters for an irrigation meeting. Mr Nidhom, Mr Ghozi, Mr Suhartono, Mr Prasetyo, Mr Harwijanto, Mr Hidayat, Mr Sri Pur, Mr Suwoko and Mr Sulaksono also involved on the discussion. At 15:00 I and Mr Harsono left the place when the meeting were still on going.

I got up at 05:30 and still had time to prayed. Anindya was home. At 04:00 she arrived Semarang from Jakarta. Argo Bromo Coachs brought her to Semarang. We had nasi pecel for our breakfast.

At 17:00 I, Mr Sumar, Mr Sudiono, Mr Djarwono and Mr Suparno visited Mr Landung Sumardi at Tugu Hospital Mawar Room M-14. He was hospitalized for his heart problem.

At 19:00 I and Anindya had dinner at Ayam Bakar Wong Solo Resto. The food was delicious.

Visiting Former Office

At 10:00 I came to my former office to meet Bena cs. He, Eni, Riyanto, Hendro, Hendra, and Pujiono were in. Mr Djumono also showed up to say hallo. We talked about their obligation to organize coordination forums and to select best irrigation operators to be competed on the National Operators Competition. They pleased me by providing me gado gado. It was just good because I had not had breakfast yet.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and prepared myself for walking. I traced Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewo, Banjirkanal Bridge and Jalan Bojongsalaman. I joined Friday Prayer at Attaqwa Mosque. The preacher said majority of Muslims behaved away from those mentioned in Holy Quran. Then, I washed my clothes.

Recording Identity Data

I woke up late so I lost my prayer. I was fasting although I had no early breakfast. I went to a barber shop to trim my hair. As usual I cut the hair shortly. Then, I came to Semarang Barat Suburb Office to record my data for the new identity card. Rahutama accompanied me. We drove the new car. At 17:45 I broke my fasting. Rahutama bought nasipadang for our dinner.

Being Assessed

On applicating a competency certificate, this morning I came to the certification assessment secretariat on Jalan Durian for being assessed. There were 2 assessors (Mr Tasambar and Ms Meis) and 17 assessees. I was assessed by Ms Meis. There was a document still to be attached and fortunately, one of my documents I brought was suitable. At 13:00 the assessment was settled. The certification process costed Rp3.570.000 (Rp1.570.000 for assessment and Rp2.000.000 for the certification). I paid it off at once.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and got ready for being assessed. I collected original documents as supporting ones. I also copied some of them. At 14:00 I was home. I aborted to meet Eni to get a document from her.

Joining a Seminar

At 12:00 I came to Patrajasa Hotel Ramashinta Room to join a seminar. The seminar was 'Water Resources Management in Coping with Food and Energy' organized by HATHI Cabang Jawa Tengah (Indonesian Association of Hydraulic Engineers, Central Java Chapter) following the installation of their new management. Mr Isprasetya is the new chairman of the management. Mr Amron, Mr Hartanto, Mr Arisetiadi and Mr Prasetyo were ones to salut the new management.

I got up at 02:15, prayed and slept again. I got up again at 05:00 and prayed. At 08:00 I walked through Jalan Puspawarno Barat, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Puspawarno Raya. Yuti came home to mop the floor. At 19:00 I and Rahutama came to Rudi's house to pay my condolence to his family for his passing a way. Rudi was my schoolmate when I was in highschool. Retnobroto and Mufid were there.

New Car

At the begining evening Aji, a car sales person of Sun Motor Semarang, came home to deliver a new car. It was a Nissan March car, white. It belongs to Anindya. The car was the first car for her bought with her own money. He said that the car was just covered by anti rust and anti fungus layer. So, it is recommended to let it open air for 2 days.

I got up at 03:15, had early breakfast, prayed and slept again. Rahutama came to subdistrict office to record his data for his electronic identity. I broke my fasting at 17:45. I and Rahutama had our dinner at Pak Widodo Sate House.

Exploring Old Document

This day I spent almost all my time to look for my old documents. So, I opened a document box on the warehouse and examined them one by one. The document I looked for, an assignment to be a subproject manager and another assignment to be an assistant, were not found. I found some other documents I did not need.

This morning I got up at 05:00, prayed and got ready walk. The route was Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspawarno Tengah, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Puspanjolo Dalam. On the way home I bought steamed corn and cassava cake. At 08:00 I and Rahutama dropped Nuri at the Tawang Station. She would go to Surabaya by Rajawali Coach. Neibourhood Gathering

At 20:15 I came to Pak Kuswari's house to join monthly neigbourhood gathering. Mr Sudiono, Mr Sumar and about 14 members were there. The pot was drawed by Pak Suparno without raffling.

This day Pak Yus came to replace our old water heater hose. Yu Ti was home to help Nuri. At noon I and went to Brumbungan to drop Yuti, AC Hardware to survey some stuffes and Paragon Mall to shop.

Being at Home

I woke up at 05:00, prayed and ready for walking. I walked by tracing this route: Jalan Pamularsih, Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewa, Banjirkanal Barat Bridge and Jalan Bojongsalaman. After having a rest for a while I wiped and mopped the floor. Nuri washed clothes and then went out to by a train ticket.

This day was still hot and humid. After joining Friday Worshipping at Attaqwa Mosque, I changed my cloth. I changed it again when it came to wet. In the afternoon it was raining. The temperature was decreasing a bit. Rahutama went out.

Stove Being Fixed

At noon Pak Yus, the electrician came to continue fixing the stove. In the afternoon he settled his work. Nuri spent Rp1.350.000 for it, Rp950.000 was for spareparts and the remaining was for service cost. In the evening I and Nuri came to Karangayu Giant to buy bread.

I got up at 03:15, had early breakfast, prayed and slept again. I got up at 08:00 in a hot and humid condition. Nuri joined a Kartinian gathering in my former office.

Being at Home

This day I was still at home. Like several days ago the temperature was still hot. I changed my t-shirt several times. I had 2 t-shirts, one was in used and the other was being dried. Nuri went out to join a monthly ITB Alumni wife gathering. Pak Yus came again to fix the stove. He still did not finish his job. Yu Ti came to give 2 sorts of food, sour soup and a dry potatoes.

Discussing a Meeting

This day at 08.30 I went to the Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office again to discuss their preparation to manage a Coordinating Team meeting. We met at the Operation and Maintenance Division Office. The meeting members were Mr Zaenal, Mr Hetomo, Mr Niam and 4 young officers. The discussion was fluent so at 12:00 everything had come to conclusion. I went home after having praying at the mushallah.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and got ready to walk. I walked through Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspawarno Tengah, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Puspawarno Raya. Pak Yus came to fix our stove so Nuri could not prepare some food. At 13:00 I and Rahutama went to a fish head curry stand on Jalan Kusumawardani. We spent Rp39.000 for 2 portions. Giving Condolence

This morning I and Nuri gave our condolence to Mr Mudzakir's family at their home in Padansari Banyumanik at 09:00. Yesterday afternoon Mr Mudzakir has passed a way. We met my colleagues there such as: Mr Sukarno, Mr Tarsono, Mr Roosmany, Mr Abdulchalim, etc.

I got up at 03:15, had early breakfast, prayed and slept again. At noon I composed a draft of coordinating institution secretariat organization for Jratunseluna.

Looking for New Shoes

I woke up at 06:00 so I lost my prayer. Bu Kus gave us banana flower soup, so I had it for my breakfast. At 07:30 I walked through Jalan Pamularsih, Kaligarang Bridge, Jalan Basudewo, Banjirkanal Bridge and Jalan Bojongsalaman.

At noon I and Nuri went to Sriratu Supermarket to buy shoes for walking. I found Tomkin shoes for Rp135.000. The supermarket is ok. There are varieties of food in the food court at the groundfloor

Senior Gathering

At 09.30 I joined a gathering in the Meeting Hall of Pemali Juana River Basins Management Office. It was a gathering for the retired people from the Water Resources Engineering Department of Central Java Provincial Government. We served with blood pressure examination (I was 140/90), geriatri lecture by a doctor and lunch with soto ayam and siomay. I met Mr Zaenal, Mr Hetomo, Mr Srijanto, Mr Harsono, Mr Suwoko, etc. I was there until 13:00 to talk with Mr Bambang Sulak. This day was a hot and humid day. I felt uncomfortable.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and got ready to walk. I traced the track of Balad Store, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Puspowarno Raya. Nuri bought nasi pecel for our breakfast. In the evening I and Nuri went to Giant Supermarket, Karangayu to buy bread. It was crowded so we parked our car outside the parking yard. It was still no charge and ok. In the store we founc that the bread was Rp12.000 a piece. There was an increase of Rp2.000.

Going to Salaman

It was a long time plan that eventually I realized it. I got up at 00:45, isha prayed and slept again. I go up again at 05:45 so I lost my dawn prayer. At 07:00 I and Rahutama left home for Salaman. Congested traffic occured on Bedono but we arrived at Bu Atmo counter for breakfast at about 09:00. Kidney bean soup was her specialty. At 10:00 we arrived at Salaman. Lik Santo was in. Rahutama continued to go to Jogya.

I paid my Friday Worshipping at Assofi Mosque, Salaman. I, Adi and Lik Santo then had lunch at Sekarpanjang Resto, Krasak. I felt unpleased because the building lied just about the Tangsi Main Irrigation Channel. It was deliberately violating the Central Java Regulation on Buffering Zone.

At 17:00 I, Rahutama and his friend, Dandy, left Salaman. We stopped by Lezat Shop for buying snack and Tahu Pojok counter to have dinner. We took a route of Kranggan - Sumowono - Bandungan to get home at 21:00. Along the way I involved in a discussion about gasoline price in a Blackberry Message group.

Being at Home

This day I still maintained my voluntary fasting. I got up at 03:15, had early breakfast and slept again. It was hot and humid when I got up again. I had no desire to do writing, the thing I had to do to add my point.

I broke my fasting at 17:45. Ratna and Dik Yu came home to take her new cloth. The temperature was still hot and humid. I replaced my shirt frequently.

Submitting Diploma Copies

Before noon I went to the certification secretariat in Banyumanik area to submit my diploma copies. They had been legalized by a notary public. It was the condition in cerfication procces.

This morning I prayed and prepared myself for a walk. I and Nuri left home separately but her route was shorter than mine. In the afternoon there was an earthquake in Sumatera at a magnitude of 8,5. It was big but no victim nor serious damage.

Sounding a Job

This afternoon I saw Mr Zaenal again in his office. I took minister decrees establishing the coordinating institutions. They would be in my portfolio. I was involved in a discussion with him and also Mr B Sulaksono.

This morning I got up at 04:30, prayed and slept again. In the morning I wiped and mopped the floor. Nuri went out to pay invoices of phone, electric power and drinking water. Sounding a Job

This morning I came to Pemali Juana WR Management Office to see Mr Zaenal. There is an issue we discussed concerning the performance of the coordinating institution. Mr Zaenal managed 2 institutions: Pemali Comal and Jratunseluna coordinating institutions. He felt that the perfomance had not been adequate. He need an expert to support him and I was considered the one. The problem was that I had no certificate of competency. I had been applying it to Indonesian Association of Hydraulic Engineers and Indonesian Society of Sanitary and Environmental Engineers.

This morning I woke up at 03:15, had early breakfast, prayed and slept again. At noon we welcomed a catering service officer to discuss our plan to manage a wedding party. It was Monday so I was voluntary fasting. I broke my fasting at 17:50. Lanjutannya...

Anindya Going to Jakarta

At 15:00 Anindya, accompanied by Bagus, left home for Tawang Station. She would go to Jakarta by Argo Muria Coachs. At 22:30 she sent a message that she had arrived at her dormitory.

I got ut at 05:00, prayed and prepared myself for a walk. At 05:45 I walked through Jalan Purpawarno Tengah, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Puspanjolo Dalam. I bought steamed corn on my way home.

In the afternoon I and Nuri met Bena at Jalan Soegijapranata to picked a pack of food from Pekanbaru we ordered. He and his wife had just landed and on their way to their home. The food was ikan patin asam padeh. We had it for our dinner.

Being at Home

It was Saturday, I filled my day with usual activities. At 05:20 I got up for praying. I used the remaining time to make my computer files in order.

Nuri and Anindya went out to inquire information concerning her plan to marry. At 13:00 they were home for having lunch. They bought tahu gimbal for us. Then, they went out again. They were home before maghrib time.

Anindya Coming Home

Anindya come home in the morning at 06:00. She used Argo Anggrek to get her to Semarang. She utilized the long week end to be in holiday with us.

I got up at 04:00, had evening and then dawn praying. At 05:30 I made morning walk through Jalan Basudewa from Kaligarang to Banjirkanal Bridges. On the way home I bought steamed corn and black sticky rice for my first breakfast.

I and Nuri visited Tuti's husband, Tudjono, in Elizabeth Hospital at 10:00. He was there for 3 days because dengue fever was in him. We met Tutik, Tatik & husband and Hariyoto. I joined Friday Worshipping at Attaqwa Mosque.

Being at Home

As usual I was at home all day long. My day started at 03:15 when I got up to have my early breakfast. Yes, this day was Tuesday so I as usual managed my voluntary fasting. I slept again after praying.

Yu Ti came home to help Nuri mopping and ironing. So, Nuri had time to joined a monthly gathering. While she was away Ratna and Andra came home. The left home before Nuri came home.

I broke my fasting at 17:50. Nuri provided green bean cocktail for me.

Being Out for a While

In the afternoon I made a walk till Balad Store area. In the evening I and Nuri shopped at Carrefour DP Mall. It had long time I was not there, Ithought the market was less crowded then before. It was showering when we were on the way home.

Being at Home

This day I thought that my application had to be upgraded, so I made a self assesment on it. It was true, my point on scientific paper was below the passing grade.

I got up at 05:00, prayed and slept again. I was late to have breakfast. I just had rice and fried tempe. Nuri made meat and vegetable stir fry but I did not like them. Nuri bought lontong pecel for our lunch. She did it on her way home after she shopped monthly stuff. I was at home all day long.

Breaking Fasting

This morning Bena asked me to join him and his ordinates in a farewell party to respect Suyono's retirement. So, at 11:30 I came to Sangklak stand in Tanah Mas where the party was organized. I was in voluntary fasting so I had to broke it. Breaking such a fasting is better than keeping it going because the invitation is maintaining relationship. In the party I met Mr Hidayat and Mr Ghozi.

I got up at 03:15, had early breakfast and slept. At 10:00 I came to a photocopy shop to copy the application. At 13:30 I came to Gramedia to by a big envelop. At 15:00 though Undip post station I sent the IATPI certification application to the secretariat in Jakarta.

Being at Home

At 05:00 I got up, prayed and prepared myself to walk. At 06:00 I walked through Jalan Pamularsih, Jalan Puspowarno, Jalan, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Puspanjolo Tengah. At a market on Jalan Puspanjolo Selatan I bought steamed corn and black sticky rice. I had breakfast with those items.

Yu Ti came home to help Nuri. At about 12:00 she went back to Brumbungan. It was showering at noon. I was at home in the remaining day.
