Gathering

It is Tuesday. Black Tuesday (Selasa Wage). I arrived at the office at 10:00. Anwar, Priyonggo, and Benny arrived later. Atina was not in. I was still relaxed in the office. At about 12:00 Benny left the office. It was his last present because tomorrow he would go to Mecca for Haj Pilgrimage. We paid our wishes to him.

At 15:30 I left the office for Tamini stop by a Gojek bike. Then, a busway bus brought me to Semanggi stop. I walked over a bridge connecting Semanggi to Bendungan Hilir stops. Another bus got me to Blok M Terminal.

At 17:00 I arrived at Hotel Ambhara dan directly went up to Rajawali I Hall where gathering managed. It was gathering of former students in Canada sponsored by CIDA and Public Works Department from 1979 to 1993. There were Bellafolijani, Reifeldi, Bambang Soenarto, Prasidananto, Bambang Hargono & wife, Hanan Akhmad, Sutardi, Suhartono, Bahmid Tohary and Hetty Susantin. Other members came later such as Sukmana Soma, Suprapto, Suseno Darsono, Abdullah Syarif, Cece Sutapa, John Sianipar, Edi Paminto, Sukatja, Made Sumiarsih, Hafied Gany, Suprapto, Azrun Umar, Sugiyanto, Hari Suprayogi, Nana Mulyana, and Ngadirin. The former BPPT undergrad students also showed up. They were Bonatua Bonaventura Napitu, Reza, and Muhammad Neil el Himam.

Bellafolijani, the organizing lady, provided a small band group accompanying a member sing a song. They were professional so anyone singing a song he/she will get a good time. Bellafolijani also served us with tasty dishes making us happier.

Hari gave short speech. He mentioned that it was the second time we met. He was willing to managed a following gathering in Semarang. There were many former students living in Semarang.

At 21:00 I left the venue. A busway bus brought me to Kampung Rambutan Terminal. A Gojek bike got me to the office. Till 23:30 I was in the office to upload the pictures of gathering. At 23:45 I arrived at the guesthouse
